Dino Dossier: Bulbdog

Common NameBulbdog

TimeUnknown
DietHerbivore
TemperamentPassive

TameableYes
RideableNo
Command
Wild

Microluminis Globulus is best described as a slobbering, roly-poly ball of affection. Just like its kin, it is completely harmless, despite its pronounced fangs. So if a survivor sees one running towards them, they should prepare to be licked, not bitten.

Domesticated

While Microluminis Globus has skin reminiscent of lizards or amphibians, its behavior is incredibly similar to a common canine. This has made it a particularly popular choice as a companion and source of Charge Light, but remember - whatever shoulder you rest it on will be covered in drool within minutes.

Known Information

Unfortunately, being so ugly that you're cute is not an effective means of self-defense, which lands it near the bottom of the food chain. Its Charge Light may intimidate some predators, but its attracts just as many.

Dino Dossier: Basilisk

Common NameBasilisk
SpeciesSerpens Regulus
TimeUnknown
DietCarnivore
TemperamentAggressive
Domestication
TameableYes
RideableYes
Command
Wild
More than twice the size of wild Titanoboa Exomantur, Serpens Regulus is the largest and most lethal snake I've encountered. With a skull that's more draconic than serpentine, it possesses a powerful bite, made even deadlier by the potent venom dripping from its fangs. The unique shape of its skull allows Serpens to hunt in a way that other snakes cannot: by burrowing. Once underground, it simply waits for its victims to approach. Fortunately its forked tail is usually still visible, poking just aboveground.
Domesticated
Miraculously, survivors have not only managed to tame Serpens Regulus, but ride it. Some can even stay seated while it is lies in wait belowground, though I doubt it's a pleasant experience. While a wild Serpens can only be forced out of hiding by fire or explosives, once domesticated, it is easily trained to burrow or surface on command

  • Repairing a Structure now leaves the “Repairing” state properly as a client
  • On Turret-limited Servers, HeavyTurrets now are only hard-limited to 100 Heavies in range, to enable players to more easily replace/swap their old Turrets with Heavies. They will notify on the HUD of more than 100 overall Turrets in range, in preparation for the day when ALL Turrets will be limited to 100 in range.

ARK: Survival Evolved Patch 274.0

  • Added “Heavy Turret”, which packs approximately 4 times the power of a regular Turret and has faster tracking, but uses 4 Ammo per shot.
    • On Official Servers, in preparation for ultimately limiting all Turrets to 100 within a 10,000 unit range, only 100 Heavy Turrets can be placed in a 10000 unit range, including ALL Auto Turrets & Plant Turrets within that range. If you wish to enable this Heavy Turret limit on your own unofficial Server, you can use these values in the ShooterGameMode section of your Game.ini:
      • bLimitTurretsInRange=true
      • LimitTurretsRange=10000
      • LimitTurretsNum=100

(Later on, those values will also hard-limit regular Auto Turrets and Plant Turrets)

  • Doubled Tek Turret Damage
