Official Mods Programm on PC and Xbox
Hello Survivors!
In May 2016 the official Mods Programm will be launched from Studio Wildcard! Mods can than be integrated in the Official ARK System!
The Center-Map you can see in the youtube-video-link is designed by community member Ben Burkart, The Center adds an over-the-top, fantasy-themed map that doubles the size of the current game and is more varied than the original ARK map, with tons of new biomes, dungeons, floating islands, end-of-the-world waterfalls, massive ancient ruins, along with other wonders to explore and secrets to find. Drawn completely by hand without any auto-generated content, The Center is a massive increase in the game’s official playable content and is free to both PC and Xbox One players.
A lot of mods will follow to PC and XBox One!

- Fixed issue that was causing weapons with custom ammo to lose their Ammo when moved into a Dino Inventory. Requires Server Update!
- Fixed ‘active’ sound effect on Chemistry Table
- Removed Cannon & Cannon Ball Engram from Primitive Servers. Isn’t really appropriate for gunpowderless worlds.

- Reduced Cannon Ball Damage by 15% generally, and 25% with respect to Metal Structures, and 40% with respect to Metal Turrets. Added a small amount of Obsidian as a crafting requirement for cannon balls.

Explorer Note: Rockwell Recipes
Earlier in the year we revealed one of the first of many Explorer Notes that exists on the ARK. The Explorer Note System will allow survivors to discover the stories of actual inhabitants that have lived on the isle, and learn what their fates are, over time. By studying their notes, going through their experiences, and revealing the secrets they have discovered, you will be able to get closer to the heart of the mysteries surrounding the ARK!
Content of the Note:

- Fixed Beaver/Dam spawn rates
- Fixed/improved “out of memory” crashes (responsible for most current crashes)
- Fixed invisible supply crates in caves/underwater on clients
- Fixed multi-floor building on Rafts and Platform saddles (disallowed on Quetz still due to exploit)
- Improved rendering performance slightly (~4%)
- Fixed player dedicated servers that were not spawning dinos
- Fixed case where dino harvesting would break
